June 19, Tuesday
Three sessions on the Authority of Scripture.
1. Jesus and the apostles’ use of the Old Testament.
2. Role of the Holy Spirit in inspiring the writers and in illuminating the readers.
3. The progress in revelation and perspicuity of the text.
June 20, Wednesday
Three sessions on the Meaning of Scripture
1. The role of the plurality of Asian cultures in the interpretation of Scripture.
2. The role of church tradition and church dogmatics in interpreting Scripture.
3. The devotional use of Scripture and the exposition of the text in preaching, teaching and pastoral care.
June 21, Thursday
Three sessions on the Mission of Scripture
1. The role of Scripture in transforming the nation through the church and in the care of creation.
2. The nature and practice of biblical conversion in evangelism.
3. The biblical response to suffering and persecution in Asia and the Middle East.
