Currently, there are more than 100 theological educational institutions are members of ATA. These are located in Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.

There are two types of membership in ATA, which are associate member and accredited member.

An Associate Member is a theological educational institution serving Asians, which abides by the World Evangelical Fellowship Statement of Faith.

An Accredited Member is a theological educational institution that has programs accredited by ATA. Associate members are encouraged to later become accredited members. Over 90% of ATA members are accredited members. Both associate and accredited members pay an annual membership fees.

Application of membership in the ATA is the first step in seeking accreditation and fellowship. Membership Application fee is SGD 90 or USD 50. This application should be sent to the General Secretary, Farrer Road P.O. Box 90, Singapore 912 803. Fees paid by cheque should be addressed to “WEF-Asia Theological Association” There will be an annual membership fee of SGD$180 or USD $100 upon approval of membership status.
