The Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST) once again expands as another AGST was launched last March 10, 2019. This new AGST is located in North East India (AGST, NEI) and was launched at Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS).

AGST NEI is a partnership of the Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS), Zechu- Zubza and Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS), Dimapur. During the launching, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Sanyu Iralu, Principal of SBS and Dr. Joshua Lorin, Principal of OTS.This collaboration between the two seminaries will allow for a Master of Theology (MTh) programme in several disciplines which will begin in July of 2020.

Dr. Theresa Lua, General Secretary of ATA gave the charge while the prayer of blessing was pronounced by Dr. Paul Cornelius, Regional Secretary of ATA India. Present in the event were board members, faculty, staff, and students of both the seminaries. 

AGST North East India will be joining the five other AGSTs already in operation: Philippines, Nepal, Japan, Alliance (Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand), and Pacific.
